Dear Mr. Harper,

As a member of St Andrew’s-Wesley United Church Vancouver,I request that your government act to establish a fully funded,national,affordable housing program.

The lack of affordable housing is one of the principal causes of the chronic homelessness that plague cities all across Canada.

Also,it is widely accepted that the single most important thing our national government could do to alleviate the scourge of poverty,especially child poverty,would be to forge,and fund,a credible Canadian national housing program.

With Federal government leadership,the lives of many of our most disadvantaged citizens will be made easier.

Thank you in anticipation of your government’s action on this issue.
