Homeless Facts

In the 2008 Homeless Count there were AT LEAST 3,062 people homeless in Metro Vancouver.

Since 2002,there has been a shocking 137% increase in overall homelessness and a 373% increase in the number of people sleeping outside. /.

We are a faith-based community group from St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church in downtown Vancouver,BC,Canada. For more information about St. Andrew’s-Wesley United Church,click HERE.

GOAL

To end homelessness.

PRIORITIES

  1. To take a proactive role in educating the public,business and community leaders and governments regarding the issues of homelessness and mental health.
  2. To encourage and foster political will at all three levels of Government to adopt policies that will end homelessness in Vancouver.
  3. To raise funds to provide housing for people who are homeless.
